A trumpet vase in Wedgwood's pink jasper, banded at the rim with a white oak-and-acorn festoon and wrapped with a procession of cherubs at play — one lifting a flowering garland, others trailing behind — all raised on a stepped circular foot. The trumpet form has real presence, and the pink ground is gentler and less common than the standard blue. Lovely as a vanity vessel, a small planter, or simply on its own. Impressed WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND to the base. Excellent condition.
