A gathered collection of Blue Willow in graduating sizes — the most-loved chinoiserie pattern there is, with its willow tree, twin lovebirds, pagodas, and little bridge rendered in classic transferware blue. This is an intentionally mixed set drawn from several makers, including Allerton’s of England, “Old Willow,” and Japanese Flair, so no two are quite identical — the blues range from soft and faded to deep, saturated cobalt. That variation is the whole charm: stacked, they make a perfect nesting tablescape; scattered, they layer beautifully on a plate wall or fill a dresser.
